Educational Purpose

This platform exists solely for educational purposes.

Its goal is to help developers, students, and educators learn how modern web technologies work in practice, including HTTP, REST APIs, browser automation, cookies, sessions, authentication, testing, and responsible web scraping.

Some parts of this website intentionally simulate situations that can occur on real websites. These may include hidden elements, changing page structures, misleading interface components, rate limits, or other educational challenges. Their purpose is not to punish users or teach how to bypass restrictions, but to demonstrate why robust software should validate assumptions instead of relying on fragile implementations.

The platform is intended to promote ethical automation and responsible interaction with web services. It is not designed to teach unauthorized access, bypass security mechanisms, or interfere with third-party systems.

Users are encouraged to respect the terms of service, robots.txt policies, applicable laws, and the rights of website owners when applying the knowledge gained here to real-world projects.

The REST API provides a stable and documented interface for learning programmatic access and should be preferred whenever structured data is available. Whenever a documented API is available, it should be considered the preferred way of interacting with a web application.

The goal is not to defeat anti-bot systems, but to build automation that behaves predictably, verifies its assumptions, and interacts with web applications responsibly.

Users are solely responsible for how they apply the knowledge gained from this platform outside of this educational environment. Always act in accordance with the terms of use and policies of the websites and services you interact with.

To make this even clearer, especially for those new to web technologies: The knowledge taught on this platform has many legitimate applications beyond web scraping. It is widely used in software development, quality assurance (QA), browser automation, API integration, accessibility testing, monitoring, search engine indexing, data migration, website maintenance, research, and other forms of responsible software automation. The techniques demonstrated here are intended to help developers build reliable software, understand modern web applications, and interact with web services in a predictable, documented, and ethical manner.

Privacy

This site is designed not to require real personal data.

Server logging is used only for error detection and basic service reliability. It is not used for analytics, advertising, profiling, or user tracking.

When signing up or logging in, there is no need to use real credentials — that functionality exists purely to simulate a real e-commerce site for practice purposes. Any data entered into forms is stored temporarily in the database only to make authentication, scraping, and API practice realistic, and is deleted during the daily reset.

IP addresses are not intentionally stored in persistent logs for tracking or analytics. They may exist transiently in memory or server infrastructure while processing requests, which is technically necessary for the site to function.

I designed this site to minimize data collection as much as possible. This site is intentionally fake and built for developers, scraping practice, and API practice. If I find something unnecessary being stored, I'll fix it.

One last reminder: do not enter real personal information in any registration forms — use fake data only.

When you follow external links (e.g. YouTube), you leave this site and are subject to that platform's own privacy policy.

This policy may be updated at any time without prior notice, but it will always follow the same underlying principle: collect as little as possible and never require real personal data for practice.
